Hi there, I'm Larry - Lead Photographer at Studio Moot.

I've been behind the camera for 10+ years, and for the last 5 my focus has been families. That shift happened when my first kid was born - suddenly I understood how fast those early years go, and how much a great photo of your family actually means. Since then I've also become the school photographer for local preschools and daycares, so I've spent a lot of time with little ones in front of my lens.

These days I'm a dad of three, a PTA member at Earhart Elementary - I volunteer in Motor Fitness! - and a proud Bay Farm local. I know what it takes to get a toddler to sit still (and when to stop trying and just catch the chaos). My sessions are relaxed and low-pressure, built around real moments over stiff poses - perfect for holiday cards, family portraits, and the photos you'll want on the wall for years.

I'm originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills),  spent time in Boston, and 6 years in NYC before heading west to San Francisco and eventually settling in Alameda with my family.
